Winners across eight categories honored by the industry
(New York, NY – April 4, 2012) – The Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) proudly announced recipients of the ARF 2012 Great Mind Awards at a special luncheon March 28, at Re:think 2012, hosted at the Marriott Marquis, New York City. Sponsored by GfK, the ARF Great Mind Awards honor outstanding minds in advertising research across several categories.
Two new categories were announced this year: The Journal of Advertising Research (JAR) Best Paper Award, and the GfK Next Generation Award. The JAR award recognizes the Journal’s best paper as voted by the its esteemed Editorial Advisory Board. The GfK Next Generation award is a competition designed to give student researchers a chance to test their marketing knowledge through design and execution of a research project.
“We had an outpouring of submissions this year from ARF members recognizing the great minds in advertising research. The ARF is so proud to recognize these accomplishments, and celebrate those who truly advance the art and science of our industry,” said Bob Barocci, President and CEO, ARF.
