ARF Launches New and Improved Website to Better Serve Members and Industry

(New York, NY - March 22, 2012) - Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) is proud to announce the launch of a new website (www.thearf.org) that includes state-of-the-art tools and technology, a fresh, new design, and updated content to better serve members' needs.

Led by Erin Jansen, ARF’s director of digital and online operations and executed by Alan Schulman and his team at U.DIG > The Digital Innovations Group, this project updates and enhances the ARF brand online and enables both members and industry leaders to readily access the organization’s wealth of cutting edge research and thought leadership.

Bob Barocci, ARF president and CEO said, "Erin developed an editorial approach and strategy for our site that will enable members to tap into the core body of knowledge we offer the industry online. Our goal is to enable members to stay on top of new learning and research innovation, and we will continue to publish regular updates on important work going on throughout the industry."

The new website makes it easier to locate information, sign-up for events, and access timely, aggregated content through user-friendly channels on the homepage.

The members channel features a member news feed, member spotlight, enhanced member directory, and a dedicated ARF community page that displays the organization’s active social media properties in an easy-to-read layout.

The research channel features current research initiatives, an introduction to the robust ARF subject matter expert team, ARF Arrowhead research projects, the Journal of Advertising Research, a new research Blog, and KnowledgePulse, an industry news feed updated daily.

Finally, the Knowledge Center channel includes member-only services and new tools such as the weekly "5 Cups of Morning Coffee," a summary of the latest industry news, an enhanced video library containing presentations and interviews with industry thought leaders, access to the ARF Store, and more. The channel also includes the industry-leading PowerSearch engine, which puts ARF’s latest research – as well as and cutting-edge findings published in the prestigious Journal of Advertising Research – at your fingertips.

The new website also emphasizes upcoming events, forums, and webcasts in a calendar display with links for easy registration. A new career center page serves members seeking jobs and wishing to post openings. An enhanced mobile version is also available, displaying rich media content for handheld devices (http://m.thearf.org).

"The new website’s primary benefit is to facilitate the dissemination of information so members can stay on top of their industry and look to the ARF as a valuable partner that helps their companies better achieve their goals,” says Jansen. “Members can easily access leading-edge content produced at ARF events, participate in thought-leadership activities, gain personal recognition, and get the training and education they need to drive innovation within their respected industries."
