Bluefin Labs

Bluefin Labs was co-founded in 2008 by Deb Roy and Michael Fleischman, two MIT Doctors in cognitive science. Bluefin Labs is a social TV analytics company providing solutions to brands, advertising agencies, and TV networks. The company’s initial product, Signals Network Edition, is used by over 40 of the largest broadcast and cable networks in the US. In April 2012, they launched Signals Brand Edition, the first Social TV analytics product built for brands. The technology behind Bluefin Labs is grounded in 15 years of cognitive science and machine learning research at the MIT Media Lab.
