The University of Georgia is the state’s oldest, most comprehensive, and most diversified institution of higher education. As a land-grant and sea-grant university, UGA offers bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and professional degrees in a wide range of academic disciplines. U.S. News & World Report’s 2011 “Best Colleges” edition rated UGA 18th among national public research universities. Kiplinger’s Personal Finance ranks UGA 6th in its 2012 list of the “100 Best Values in Public Colleges.”
The Master of Marketing Research (MMR) degree, an internationally recognized graduate program within UGA’s Terry College of Business, is administered by the Coca-Cola Center for Marketing Studies. Established in the early 1980s, the MMR program was the first Master of Marketing Research program and is regarded as the standard of comparison for such programs. With over 500 alumni, graduates hold leadership positions in both client and supplier firms.
