Bob Barocci, President and CEO of the Advertising Research Foundation, will be sharing the ARF’s expertise in measurement and social media at WFA Global Advertiser Week.

Global Advertiser Week runs from March 30th to April 2nd in Istanbul, Turkey. The week will be co-hosted by World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) and the Turkish Advertiser Association (RVD). The headline event will be the Global Advertiser Conference featuring some of the leading lights of global marketing.

At the Global Advertiser Conference on Wednesday March 31st Bob Barocci will join a panel discussing the theme “Can’t measure? Won’t pay?” with Bernhard Glock, CEO, Media Leadership Company and Dilek Erkey, Media Director, Unilever Turkey, moderated by Charlie Crowe, CEO, CSquared. Bernhard Glock will share some of his experience from 24 years with Procter & Gamble, followed by the panel discussion focusing on what needs to be done to progress media measurement in Turkey and around the world.

Bob Barocci is also a featured guest speaker on April 2nd at the National Associations Council. The 2010 spotlight is on social media marketing and Barocci will reveal how the ARF is working to focus less on the consumer, and instead bring the voice of the human into the boardroom. He will address the problems of revenue generation for and by social media and explain how listening can bring real value to a brand.
